WordPress Plugin Software

WordPress plugins authored and distributed by Purple Turtle Creative may include the ability for providing remote software updates. When a new version of the software package is released, users will be notified within their WordPress system where the Purple Turtle Creative plugin is installed. To reliably provide this service and understand the needs of the plugin’s users, Purple Turtle Creative uses Google Analytics to track the client’s website domain name (or hashed IP address), website language locale, installed WordPress version, installed PHP version, and installed plugin version of all remote update requests.

WordPress plugins authored by Purple Turtle Creative that are distributed by another provider, such as WordPress.org, are subject to that provider’s own privacy policy. Purple Turtle Creative does not impose additional custom analytics or data tracking in these circumstances.
